A sparkling creek..
I most definitely should have some kind of designer Christmas tree..I mean, having a kids’ tree is fine.

Multi-colored lights and mis-matched ornaments aren’t the end of the world, but really I should have a second tree (or a third or a fourth) that’s all done up “properly”..I just didn’t feel like it.We usually put the second tree in the kitchen, but we’re having a big new table delivered in there and I just wanted to leave the extra space empty to move around in while I’m setting up and enjoying the new table..

I cringed a little when Kennedy insisted on the multi-colored light. The rest of the house, though, is decorated within and inch of it’s life and I’m loving it all.

I can let Kennedy have the tree..
So I sat back and bit the head off an innocent little gingerbread man and watched her do the whole thing herself.. And Chris left the tree so tall that the angel literally touches the ceiling..I know in the back of my mind that it’s not working.
And I know it’s a waste of my time..The thing is, there are plenty of “real” projects I could be working on.
Ones that aren’t just a temporary solution..So that’s what I’ve promised myself to make sure I’m working on first.
